Hello there.  This is Joe Tomasso of Cranford, New Jersey (Now Harlem, NY).  I'm an aspiring film editor, having recently graduated from Kean University in Union, NJ with a Bachelor's in Media & FIlm.  My finest accomplishment via my major is probably my short documentary, "Living with Cystic Fibrosis: A Struggle Within", which I've submitted to one or two film festivals but have yet to hear any feedback.  I'm currently working out of my own Manhattan apartment, where I do freelance video editing (converting old analogue home videos to clean up, edit, and burn to DVD) and artwork.  I will be endeavoring for an internship with a production/post production company, hopefully racking up experience and getting a chance to ultimately do what I want to do, in particular, editing films.
